Canon EOS 350D with
Carl Zeiss Jena Triotar 4/135mm T (1950)

Veijo Vilva

(Page under Construction)

  • FOV corresponds to a 215mm lens on a 35mm camera

  • a single coated triplet lens, similar to the Cooke Triplet
  • not a tele but a long lens,
i.e. a lens head at the front end of an extension tube
(I'm also using old Cooke Triplets mounted on a macro bellows)
  • very nice bokeh
  • sharp enough for most purposes, reasonable contrast

  • this is the early version with a chrome plated brass body
    and rather heavy, about 630g
  • the lens is mounted with an M42-to-EOS adapter
  • manual focus
  • AV (aperture priority) or M (manual)

At f/4

Note: All shots hand-held
