  • FOV corresponds to a 20mm lens on a 35mm camera
  • the most affordable lens giving a true wide-angle view on a 1.6x crop factor DSLR
  • the fish-eye effect isn't as pronounced as when used on a 35mm SLR
  • very sharp
  • exhibits some purple fringing, c.f. my Helsinki Railway Station Photo

  • the lens is mounted with an M42-to-EOS adapter
  • manual focus
  • AV (aperture priority) or M (manual)

  • made in Russia, available as new (my lens left the factory in June 2005)
